A little bit about myself and the origin of Wood & Music Lab Productions

My name is Robert Smith and I was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA.

About 20 years ago while browsing in a cultural shop I noticed a carved staff. Its fine carved details had a great impact on me and pointed me in the direction of pursuing meaningful and fulfilling work that would make others happy.

Not many days after that, I was out in a wooded area and noticed birds and animals on tree branches. I gathered pieces of wood and began to carve images onto them and making staffs and drums. One day I found a piece which resembled a foot or a shoe sole. This represented a step in the direction of starting a business. It didn't seem like work considering that it is something I love to do... while at the same time making people happy by providing original custom goods and services.
